"One of the hardest things about shooting '24' is working with amazing actors who often get killed off," Kiefer shared. "You develop an unbelievable relationship with them, both professionally and personally, and then their characters die."
A Musical Interlude
And this is the part most people miss... Kiefer is not just an actor; he's also a musician! He formed the Kiefer Sutherland Band and later released solo albums, including "Down in a Hole," "Reckless and Me," and "Bloor Street."
"The songs I wrote are stories from my life. They're my journal," Kiefer explained. "Performing without a character separating me from the audience was freeing."
Personal Life and Relationships
Kiefer's personal life has been just as intriguing as his professional one. He was married twice, first to actress and model Camelia Kath, with whom he shares a daughter, Sarah, who followed in her parents' footsteps as an actress. He was then married to actress Kelly Winn for eight years.
In between, Kiefer dated the iconic Julia Roberts, whom he met on the set of "Flatliners." Their engagement and subsequent breakup caused a media frenzy.
